F1: All you need to know about Emilia-Romagna GP at Imola

Circuit returns to calendar after last year's race was cancelled

Full weekend programme including details of free practice, qualifying and the race

Formula 1 heads to Europe this weekend as Imola returns to the calendar following last year's cancelled race.

The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix will be the fourth race of the 2023 season and will take place at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

Imola is a historic circuit that has hosted the San Marino Grand Prix on 27 occasions, but it was dropped from the calendar in 2006.

The circuit was added back to the calendar in 2020 as a replacement for the Chinese Grand Prix, which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2020 race was won by Lewis Hamilton, while Max Verstappen won last year's race.

The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix will be the first race of the 2023 season to be held in Europe.

The full weekend programme is as follows:

Day Time Session
Friday 10:00-11:00 Free Practice 1
Friday 14:00-15:00 Free Practice 2
Saturday 11:00-12:00 Free Practice 3
